Stampede Information

 

During the Calgary Stampede, there are three types of stampede events.

  1. The "non-profit food event" Stampede Breakfast with no direct or indirect charge to customers.  this is for companies offering this special breakfast, lunch or dinner function around/during Stampede week for their customers.  Health approval is not required but the organizer must familiarize themselves with food source, preparation and protection.

Stampede Breakfasts

  1. A Stampede Special Event held for the general public.  This is an event where the public are invited for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  These events must comply with our Special Event & Tradeshow regulation and provide proper application forms for the event.  Health approval is required.

  1. The Calgary Stampede and Exhibition premier summer event at Stampede Park.  This is for vendors who are having a booth or kiosk at the Stampede Grounds during Stampede week.  Health approval is given during set-up at the Stampede Grounds.
