Request for Information on Illegal Drug Operations

Please note Alberta Health Services, Environmental Health, does not inspect every marihuana grow operation. Our program attends with law enforcement agencies when they have identified a premises as containing a drug operation. Some drug operations shut down prior to police involvement.  For more information on our procedures, please visit the link below.

 

If you wish to request information on a property, either noted or not noted on our closure orders, requests for Environmental Health information shall conform to the provisions outlined in the Health Information Act (HIA), the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP) and the Public Health Act.

 

Environmental Health inspection records will be routinely released subject to the submission of the attached Information Request Form and required payment of $25 for last inspection report or our response letter: Additional information, such a remediation report and indoor air quality testing, you must contact the Alberta Health Services, Information and Privacy Office at 1-877-476-9874 to submit a formal FOIP request.

 

Environmental Health records include inspections of public facilities such as food facilities, recreational facilities, social care facilities, personal services facilities, and rental accommodations.
