Permanent Boil Water Orders

Permanent Boil Water Orders occur on water supplies where, due to location, geography or type of facility will always be considered as unsafe water supplies by Alberta Health Services. Users of these water systems should always take precautions such as boiling the water for at least one minute, or using alternate water from a safe source. Operators of these water supplies are required to maintain permanent signage advising the public the water is unsafe.
