Online Home Study Food Safety Course

STEP ONE:

• Read the course booklet and do the review questions at the end of each section. Click here for the booklet

STEP TWO:

• To supplement your learning you can watch a video:

• "Food safety: it’s up to you" (30 mins)
• "Why don’t we do it in our sleeves" (5 mins)
• Optional: "Food safety is in your hands" (7 mins)

STEP THREE:

• Option #1 print test (requires Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher):
  • Print and scan fax or mail in answer sheet

STEP FOUR:

• Your test will be marked and you will be sent a certificate (click for example) in the mail if you receive the pass mark of 20/25 or more. It will take 1 - 3 weeks to receive the certificate.

 

• If you don’t pass, you will be asked to do another test and send in your completed test answer sheet.

Please note: this course does not meet provincial certification requirements.
