Participating in Research

Patients attending the Southern Alberta Clinic are invited to participate in many aspects of research.

The Southern Alberta Clinic is the Prairie regional centre of the Canadian HIV Trials Network (www.hivnet.ubc.ca). Along with clinics in Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Edmonton, the Canadian Trials Network Prairie Region attempts to make participation in research as widely accessible as possible.

The Southern Alberta Clinic monitors its success in ensuring that research studies are accessed by all different groups attending our clinic. A selection of the therapeutic studies currently active and completed at the Southern Alberta Clinic can be found at the link below.
