A Registered Dental Hygienist provides preventive services and education to targeted schools in the Region.

Resources for Schools:

• The Oral Health Education Teacher Resource is designed to assist teachers with helping their students achieve good oral health.

• Re-Think Your Drink is a health promotion campaign to encourage learning about added sugar in everyday beverages.

• Newsletter Tips - free oral health messages to include in publications.

Tobacco Reduction:

• Presentations about how smoking and spit tobacco affect oral health.
   

The Alberta Children’s Hospital Dental Clinic offers care to infants, children, and adolescents who present unique challenges and have special care needs.
