Advance Care Planning

Education Resources

Staff education for the Advance Care Planning: Goals of Care Designation (Adult) Policy is supported by several education resources available online through the Advance Care Planning website. The policy and the RMC framework replaces previous resuscitation policies and Levels of Care in the AHS-Calgary area.

Resources are designed to be used by individuals or for group education. All staff in the AHS-Calgary area should be familiar with this significant change in practice as it applies to their clinical role. The new Goals of Care framework applies across the AHS-Calgary area continuum including partners in Supported Living, EMS, and Home Care in urban and rural.
