3 Cheers for the Early Years is a multi-faceted program of the Calgary Health Region aimed at improving health outcomes for children pre-conception to age six. The initiatives are linked to goals and objectives at both the federal and provincial levels. 3 Cheers will be focusing on the following priority areas:

Improved Physical Health for Children

Healthy Weight for Children
Decreased Childhood Injury for Children

Increased Parent Capacity for Positive Parent Practices
Healthy Birth Weight
Community Action
Social Marketing

The Calgary Health Region is working in these priority areas in both our rural and urban communities. More information to follow in future.
