Calgary Ophthalmic Medical Technology Program

The Calgary Ophthalmic Medical Technology Program (COMTP) is a 2-year full time training program in the field of ophthalmic medical technology. 

This Calgary Health Region program is based at the Rockyview Hospital.

The COMTP will be training students each year to become Ophthalmic Medical Technologists.

Recruitment of students for the class of 2011 (starting fall of 2009) is now completed.
