Summer of neuroscience research fulfills a dream - HYRS student investigates how to boost an injured spine

Natalie Farrell, a high school student selected for the 2010 Heritage Youth Researcher Summer (HYRS) program worked in the laboratory of Patrick Whelan, PhD, an associate professor in the faculties of medicine and veterinary medicine at the University of Calgary.

Invitation to join the Calgary Medical Curling League

Physicians, students, residents - consider joining the Medical Curling League. We meet Sunday evenings at the Winter club: starting time 18:30-20:30.
 

Our first session will be held September 26, 2010 at the Winter Club curling area
As usual curlers of all skill level/experience are welcome.

September 26 will be the traditional teaching session with the Winter Club curling coach. League play will kick off OCTOBER 03 2010. Expect the fees to be similar to last year's ($300 per curler, $550 per couple. Residents are half price)
