Archives and Information Management At Calgary Health Region
Roles and Responsibilities of AIM The staff the work in Archives and Records Management provide services to help Calgary Health Region offices and units organize, maintain, access, store, and preserve or dispose of their records, in whatever format the records may be. 

The goal of Archives and Information Management is to coordinate these information management activities to ensure that they best meet the needs of the public as well as fulfilling the Calgary Health Region's legal, financial, administrative, and research obligations.

This office is integrated with the Information and Privacy Office.

  Creation of Policies and standards for Calgary Health Region records retention and destruction, security, organization, documentation, and use
  Advice, research, and training - for active records classification, retrieval, security, and scheduling.
  Scheduling and Regulation of records transfer, storage, disposal and preservation.
  Storage, retrieval, and disposal services for corporate inactive records
  Preservation and research access to Calgary Health Region archival records
