The Calgary Health Region Diagnostic Imaging Department is a clinical partner for a number of training programs, in collaboration with primary partners Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) as well as the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Red River College.    Programs supported by the Calgary Health Region Diagnostic Imaging Department  include the following disciplines:

Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT)
  • The Calgary Health Region Diagnostic Imaging Department supports the MRT programs at both SAIT and NAIT.
Medical Sonography (Ultrasound)
  • The Calgary Health Region Diagnostic Imaging Department supports the Medical Sonography programs at both SAIT and NAIT.  Ultrasound Homepage
