The DI Department provides a comprehensive array of services to meet the needs of patients who are referred to us. Over 500,000 inpatient and outpatient tests are performed annually in the Department, across the four urban and seven rural hospital sites.  

 The kinds of tests available in the DI Department include the following:

• General Radiography 

• Fluoroscopy

• Angiography / Special Procedures

• Nuclear Medicine *

• Ultrasound *

• CT Scanning  (Computed Tomography)

• PET/CT *(Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography) As of Spring 2005.

• MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

• Mammography 

• ECG (Electrocardiogram)

Many of these services are also available in community radiology clinics, so your physician may refer you to one of these clinics if appropriate.
