Literature Search Tools
Tool Description

PubMed is a literature search tool of the National Library of Medicine. It is a very user-friendly means to access MEDLINE's 11,000,000 biomedical journal citations and to research biomedical questions. Set limits to find articles focused by various parameters (e.g. date ranges, gender, age, languages...)  Build searches using the HISTORY function.  If you're following a topic you can set up a free 'cubby' to save your search parameters.

Clicking the 'Related articles' link for each abstract can expand your search. Many articles will display a link to the full text article (a subscription may be required for some, but others are offered free of charge).

Health Knowledge Network
Health Knowledge Network is a cooperative venture of the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta and their related teaching hospitals.
