HIV & Pregnancy

With spring and summer just around the corner, we can also anticipate the arrival of West Nile virus in Alberta this year. It will likely show up first in birds, but could also be seen in horses and humans prior to the fall of 2003. Several education sessions are being organized for health care professionals to provide information about the virus, clinical management, and the elements of the Alberta response plan.
