The Alberta Sepsis Network awarded an AHFMR Grant

Under the leadership of Dr Paul Kubes and Dr Chip Doig, along with Dr. Ari Joffe from the University of Alberta, "The Alberta Sepsis Network" was awarded an Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR) Interdisciplinary Team Grant.

Innovation in the Adoption of Health Informatics Award

Congratulations to Reza Shahpori, Alan Deslosangeles, Pamela Ritchie and Dr. Dan Zuege for the The Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) Surveillance System which won the Innovation in the Adoption of Health Informatics Award. The award is given to "An information technology project that has, through innovation and commitment, been successfully integrated into the health system."
