East Calgary Health Centre

A new community health centre is planned for the residents in East Calgary. The site will be located at 4715 – 8th Ave S.E. The new health centre will consolidate and expand the Forest Lawn and East Community health centres.

Proposed Services

The new East Calgary Health Centre will be home to a wide variety of community-based health services, including:

Health services for newborns, preschoolers & new mothers
Interpretation & translation services (to support health care only)
Wellness programs to help reduce smoking & obesity
Child and Youth Health Services (including School Health)
Chronic Disease Management
Mental Health and Addiction Services
Health resources for seniors
Home Care
Oral Health Services
Specialty Clinics for asthma and adult diabetes
A Family Doctor Clinic
Links to family physicians and community organizations
