To meet the health care needs of a growing community, the Calgary Health Region is developing a new Community Health Centre in Cochrane.

Project Highlights

  • The new centre will provide urgent care services to treat conditions that require immediate attention but are not life threatening. This includes broken bones, sprains, lacerations and asthma.
  • The centre will consolidate services already available in Cochrane – such as public health, mental health, home care, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services – to improve client access and efficiency for health care providers.
