ADMITTING SERVICES

FOOTHILLS MEDICAL CENTRE PATIENT HOSTEL

What to Expect During Your Stay?

Check in time is between 1:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., Monday to Friday in the South Tower, 13th Floor, Room 1312. Please make sure that you bring your provincial healthcare card and another piece of identification.

If you are checking in on a weekend or after hours, you must go to the Admitting Department, located in the Emergency entrance of the Main Hospital. Admitting will check you in, give you a room key, and provide you with any other information that you may need.

Discharge time is 11:00 a.m. Early discharge gives us time to prepare the room for incoming patients. If you are unable to leave before 11:00 a.m. due to unusual circumstances, please make arrangements with the Patient Hostel Clerk. You may be asked to wait in the lounge or another area, so your room can be cleaned.  If you do not return your keys by 11 a.m., you will be charged for each day that you have the keys. If you are leaving during the week, please leave your key with the Patient Hostel Clerk (Room 1312, 13th Floor, South Tower) and settle your account with the Admitting Department Cashier located in the Emergency entrance of the Main Hospital.

If you are leaving on the weekend or a statutory holiday, please leave your key with the Admitting Department Cashier.
