Getting to the Hospital by Vehicle

If you are driving, please refer to the map above to help you find the Alberta Children’s Hospital. We are located between Market Mall shopping centre and the University of Calgary campus. If you are coming from:

The North:

• Go south on the QE II Highway (#2 or Deerfoot Trail)
• Take the 16th Avenue West exit
• Drive west on 16th Avenue to the Alberta Children’s Hospital interchange
• Follow the signs to the Alberta Children’s Hospital

The South:

• Go north on either Macleod Trail (#2) or Deerfoot Trail
• Take the Glenmore Trail West exit
• Drive west on Glenmore Trail to the Crowchild Trail North exit
• Drive north on Crowchild Trail to 24th Avenue
• Turn left on 24th Avenue
• Take 24th Avenue to West Campus Way
• Turn right on West Campus Way
• Follow the signs to the Alberta Children’s Hospital

The West:

• Drive east on the Trans Canada Highway (# 1 or 16th Avenue) to the Alberta Children’s Hospital interchange
• Follow the signs to the Alberta Children’s Hospital

The East:

• Drive west on the Trans Canada Highway (#1 or 16th Avenue) to the Alberta Children’s Hospital interchange
• Follow the signs to the Alberta Children’s Hospital
